About Me

Hi, I'm Luca: a developer, researcher, and alpinist driven by curiosity and creativity. I love tackling complex problems, building innovative solutions, and sharing my journey through projects and writing.

I'm currently a Research Scientist at CryptoEconLab, where I work on cryptoeconomic design and incentive mechanisms in blockchain ecosystems.

I hold a PhD in Theoretical & Computational Chemistry from the Scuola Normale Superiore and a background in Physics Engineering. My path has taken me from probing molecules with ultrafast lasers, to running large-scale Quantum Mechanical simulations, and eventually to designing algorithms for optimal routing and decentralized finance.

Previously, I worked as an MEV Scientist Engineer at Urani.trade, where I specialized in mitigating toxic MEV on Solana usingintent-matching and optimal routing algorithms.
